Every app

Moving from another app

Bring your tasks, journal, feeds and YouTube subscriptions with you, without retyping anything.

Each app can bring in what you already have from the app you’re leaving. Start with the export from your old app, then follow the guide for the Wells Code app you’re moving to.

Before you start

  • Keep your original export until you’ve checked the result. Importers marked Beta are new, and every app stores things a little differently.
  • Import on one device. What you import syncs to your other devices through your own iCloud account, like anything else you add.
  • Importing again is safe. Each importer skips what’s already there, so an updated export adds only what’s new. Apple Reminders lists can be imported again too.
  • Your files stay on your device. Exports are read by the app itself. Nothing is uploaded to Wells Code.
  • Importing works during the free trial and with any plan.

If your app isn’t listed

Many apps can export a spreadsheet, and Orbit can import any CSV, matching its columns to Orbit’s. For anything else, write to us with the app you’re moving from. We read every message, and we can often help you move without retyping.
