Terms for the website, the apps and the preview

Terms

Effective 2 October 2026 · Version 1.2

These terms apply to the Wells Code website, buying Wells Code apps and the private preview programme. They do not replace Apple's terms for the App Store, TestFlight, iCloud or an Apple Account.

About Wells Code

The website and preview are operated by Wells Code Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17384274. Its registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. General questions can be sent to support@wellscode.com; legal notices can be sent to legal@wellscode.com.

The website

The website describes Wells Code apps, including apps still in private preview. Wells Code aims to keep the information accurate, but features, screenshots, compatibility and release plans for apps in preview may change before they launch. Nothing on the website is professional advice.

Buying an app

Wells Code apps are sold and licensed through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the purchase, any subscription and any free trial, and the app is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Wells Code, not Apple, is responsible for its apps and for supporting them: email support@wellscode.com with any question about an app.

Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and decided under Apple's policies.

Prices on the website are a guide, shown in your local currency where possible, from the App Store's own prices. The price Apple shows before you confirm a purchase is the one that applies.

What you make with the apps

What you make with a Wells Code app, such as a wallpaper made in Aurora, is yours to use as you like, including commercially. The apps, their built-in presets and the Wells Code name and artwork remain Wells Code's, so please don't present something you've made as coming from or endorsed by Wells Code.

Applying for the private preview

You must be at least 18 years old to apply. Please provide information that is accurate and belongs to you. Applying records your interest only: it does not guarantee selection, access to any app, a particular invitation date or continued access.

Applications are reviewed personally and places may be offered, delayed or declined according to the needs and capacity of each testing wave.

Testing access

Software made available for testing is unfinished. It may contain faults, change without notice, lose compatibility or be withdrawn. Do not rely on test software as the only copy of important information, and keep appropriate exports or backups where an app offers them.

Testing access is personal. Do not share invitation links, account access or test software. A distribution provider may impose its own eligibility, device, country and time limits.

Responsible testing

Invited testers may be asked to acknowledge reasonable testing rules. These rules set expectations for feedback and responsible access; they are not a non-disclosure agreement. If you do not wish to follow them, you can decline or leave the preview.

Feedback

If you send feedback, you allow Wells Code to use, reproduce and adapt the ideas and non-confidential information in it to evaluate and improve the apps without payment or an obligation to implement it. Do not include another person's confidential information or real sensitive app content in a report.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the website or application service, attempt to access another person's application, automate abusive requests, probe security without written permission, impersonate another person or use the service unlawfully. Wells Code may block access needed to protect applicants, infrastructure or the preview.

Intellectual property

The Wells Code name, site design, app names, artwork, copy and test software belong to Wells Code Ltd or their respective licensors. These terms do not grant permission to redistribute test software, reproduce substantial site content or imply endorsement. Ordinary linking and fair quotation are welcome.

Third-party services and links

The site and apps may link to or use services operated by Apple, Google, YouTube, publishers and other providers. Their availability and terms are outside Wells Code's control. A link does not imply endorsement.

Availability and responsibility

Wells Code may change, suspend or end the website or preview. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or affects rights you may have under applicable consumer law. Subject to those protections, Wells Code is not responsible for losses caused by relying on unfinished preview software where that reliance was not reasonable.

Leaving

You can withdraw your application or leave the preview at any time by emailing beta@wellscode.com. Information is then handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

Material changes will be dated here. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live.
